About Our Shelter:

Oasis is a small, non profit, no kill animal shelter. We only handle dogs. We are all volunteers that take care of the dogs.

Donations can be mailed to Oasis Animal Shelter, PO Box 11, Oberlin, OH 44074 If you need a tax receipt, please include that with your donation.

Come Meet our Pets:

Give us a call at 440-775-4101, leave a message and your call will be returned in the evening. Our hours are by appointment. If you call is not returned within 24 hours, please call back. It's possible that your message was garbled and we were not able to hear your phone number to call you back. If you should happen to google for our address, what shows up in google is incorrect. A private residence shows up and that is now where we are located. We are on St. Rt 511, East of Oberlin. We will give you the directions when we make appointments.

Adoption application needs to be filled out, reference check, interview and home check.

Why should you adopt?

Dog adoption and cat adoption saves lives. Adopt a dog or adopt a cat and you'll have a friend for life! What is the difference between adopting a dog or puppy versus getting dogs for sale or puppies for sale from a dog breeder? When someone is breeding puppies, they are creating new dogs who need homes. Some people are interested in a very specific breed of dog or puppy and they think the only way to find that specific breed is to buy a dog for sale from a puppy breeder. Yet animal shelters are filled with dogs who must find homes. So rather than buying a dog or puppy for sale from a dog breeder, we encourage people to adopt a dog or adopt a puppy at their local animal shelter, SPCA, humane society or pet rescue group.
