About Our Shelter
Our mission and goal is to help the homeless and abandoned/neglected animals. We try not to turn anyone needed our help away though sometimes we are not able to accomadate their requests. We are a relatively small shelter with a huge heart for wanting to help all animals. We have been expanding our outreach programs and are working closely with our community leaders in hopes of having their support in our endeavors to help reduce the overpopulation of homeless animals. I am the manager and my job is to make sure that I help the animal entering the shelter. We vaccinate, deworm, and remove fleas/ticks at intake. We try to have funding raised to have the animals spayed/neutered prior to leaving the shelter.
Come Meet our Pets
We are open to the public Monday through Saturday from noon to 5:00 p.m. We adopt directly from our shelter .
Our Adoption Process
Once an animal(s) is choosen, an application is filled out, references are required, I.D. checked, if person rents must have written and or oral approval, if animal is not yet spayed or neutered a low cost voucher is given to help off set the cost. All animals are required to be altered within 30 days of adoption or when the vet deems old enough.
The fees are: 30.00 for an kitten or puppy under 6 months and not yet spayed/neutered, 40.00 for a dog or cat not yet altered, 45.00 if under 6 months and altered and 50.00 if altered. Full blooded animals are a higher rate with restrictions.

Dog adoption and cat adoption saves lives. Adopt a dog or adopt a cat and you'll have a friend for life! What is the difference between adopting a dog, adopting a cat, adopting a kitten or adopting a puppy versus getting dogs for sale, cats for sale, puppies for sale or kittens for sale from a dog breeder or a cat breeder? When someone is breeding puppies or breeding kittens, they are creating new dogs and cats who need homes. Some people are interested in a very specific breed of dog, cat, puppy or kitten and they think the only way to find that specific breed is to buy a dog for sale or buy a cat for sale from a puppy breeder or a kitten breeder. Yet animal shelters are filled with dogs and cats who must find homes. So rather than buying a dog or puppy for sale from a dog breeder or buying a cat or kitten for sale from a cat breeder, we encourage people to adopt a dog, adopt a cat, adopt a puppy or adopt a kitten at their local animal shelter, SPCA, humane society or pet rescue group.
