Pets at Our Rescue Group:
Cities, Towns, and/or Counties We Serve:We are based out of Canton, Ohio, and mainly, we serve the surrounding cities in Stark County.
About Our Rescue Group:We are a small group of volunteers who love and care for animals. Ohio has some of the worst animal laws in the U.S. and we just want to do our part to educate the public about the importance of spaying/neutering, not buying from puppy mills, and generally just taking care of our four-legged friends.
We also host low cost transport spay/neuter clinics for cats and dogs, and opened up a resale shop run solely by volunteers. All items are donated and all proceeds benefit Woozez Animal Rescue. Ask us about our up coming clinics and Not Too Tabby Resale Shoppe!
We do what we do because we can't just sit back and wait for someone else to fix it. It takes caring and dedicated people to get things done. We always say: "The world is a dangerous place; not because of those who do evil, but because of those who look on and do nothing."
Come Meet our Pets:Since we operate solely out of foster homes and have no permanent shelter (YET!), please email for information on a specific animal. firstname.lastname@example.org
Our fosters live in our homes, and are part of our families. All are socialized, vetted, etc. THANK YOU for supporting local rescue groups!
Our Adoption Process:We ask for a minimum of a $50 donation for a "standard" kitten. This includes (at least) 2 rounds of booster vaccines, 2 rounds of wormer, flea and ear treatments if necessary, and rabies and spay at 4+ months of age. Minimum adoption donation for pairs is $60. Breed specific kittens such as Siamese, Maine Coon, Manx, etc. have higher adoption donations. Adult and special need cats have a discounted adoption fee.
Adoption donations for puppies, dogs, and other pets are on an individual basis.
Of course, extra donations are always appreciated!
