4 Paws Spay and Neuter Program
About Our Rescue Group
We are NOT a shelter, we are a Spay and Neuter Program. We are a 501c3 nonprofit, all volunteer organization dedicated to reducing pet overpopulation in Luzerne County through our low cost spay and neuter programs for families and individuals who can not afford financially to do so.

By raising funds through our events, we can financially afford to spay and Neuter their pets. This in turn reduces the number of unwanted animals in our communities. While implementing this program, we come across many abandoned friendly cats and gorgeous kittens that we foster and put up for adoption.

4 Paws is offering 1 dose of Advantage (for cats only) for $5, which at your vet will cost you about $9. One dose lasts 30 days. Call (570) 829-1001 or email FourPawsSpayNeuter@yahoo.com for more details. All proceeds go to helping spay and neuter pets.

Our Adoption Process
You must fill out an application to adopt a pet. All pets that are of age are spayed/neutered at time of adoption. Adoption fee of $60 may apply. Please note that filling out the application does not commit you to adopting, however we need this information in order to proceed with the adoption process. If you are interested in a particular cat and would like to see them in person at one of our Adoption Days please let us know so we can be sure to bring them.

Dog adoption and cat adoption saves lives. Adopt a dog or adopt a cat and you'll have a friend for life! What is the difference between adopting a dog, adopting a cat, adopting a kitten or adopting a puppy versus getting dogs for sale, cats for sale, puppies for sale or kittens for sale from a dog breeder or a cat breeder? When someone is breeding puppies or breeding kittens, they are creating new dogs and cats who need homes. Some people are interested in a very specific breed of dog, cat, puppy or kitten and they think the only way to find that specific breed is to buy a dog for sale or buy a cat for sale from a puppy breeder or a kitten breeder. Yet animal shelters are filled with dogs and cats who must find homes. So rather than buying a dog or puppy for sale from a dog breeder or buying a cat or kitten for sale from a cat breeder, we encourage people to adopt a dog, adopt a cat, adopt a puppy or adopt a kitten at their local animal shelter, SPCA, humane society or pet rescue group.
