Hope Animal Rescue
About Our Rescue Group
The HOPE Rescue Center is a non-profit no kill animal shelter. Our misson is to make a measurable difference in the welfare of animals and to find loving homes for the animals taken in by the rescue facility. Handfuls On Purpose Enterprizes Inc. is a public benefit non-profit corporation organized and operated exclusively for charitable and educational purposes. Specifically, we prevent cruelty to animals and instruct the public on pet care and training. These are subjects useful to individuals and beneficial to the community. Our organization has designed and developed a program for this purpose. We operate an animla shelter for the rescue and placement of companion animals. Our shelter operates seven days a week to recieve animals from the City of Hearne.
Come Meet our Pets
we are open Monday- Friday from 9-4 and on saturday and sunday by apptment. our adoption center is at 112 Magnolia Hearne, tx 77859
Our Adoption Process
The adoption process will include an application and fee of $25.00 for cats and kittens; $50.00 for dogs and puppies; and $200.00 for Staffordshire Bull Terriers (Pitt Bulls). The fee covers all shots and spay and neuter procedures. An interview and/or a home visit is necessary to determine the adequacy of a yard to house the pet, without it being chaned or caged. If the animal is to live in an apartment, it must not be more than 25 pounds at maturity. A staff member must be able to determine if the landlord allows pets and if any required deposits have been paid. All dogs that will grow to more than 25 pounds must have a fenced yard.
Dog adoption and cat
adoption saves lives. Adopt
a dog or adopt a cat and you'll
have a friend for life! What is the difference between adopting a dog, adopting
a cat, adopting a kitten or adopting a puppy versus getting dogs for sale, cats
for sale, puppies for sale or kittens for sale from a dog breeder or a cat breeder?
When someone is breeding puppies or breeding kittens, they are creating new dogs
and cats who need homes. Some people are interested in a very specific breed of
dog, cat, puppy or kitten and they think the only way to find that specific breed
is to buy a dog for sale or buy a cat for sale from a puppy breeder or a kitten
breeder. Yet animal shelters are filled with dogs and cats who must find homes.
So rather than buying a dog or puppy for sale from a dog breeder or buying a cat
or kitten for sale from a cat breeder, we encourage people to adopt a dog, adopt
a cat, adopt a puppy or adopt a kitten at their local animal shelter, SPCA, humane
society or pet rescue group.
