Animals Need Help of Bear Lake
About Our Shelter
We are a small volunteer group located in Montpelier Idaho. We are very dedicated to making our little corner of the world just a bit more caring and humane. Our animlas are spayed, neutered, socialized and healthy before they are placed in a forever loving home. We do require references to adopt and a vet reference works great. We do not have a set adoption fee but work totally on donation. The donations help cover the medical expenses for the animals. Every penny donated to our shelter goes right back to the animals. Our administrative expenses and travel expenses are all donated by our volunteers. Most importantly we each spend time with every dog. We are out to the shelter about 5 or 6 times a day. Each animal gets there own one on one time. They know we love them and we think we have the best furkids in the whole world. Come see us and be amazed at what good care and lots of love can do for a homeless pet. Our moto is, "We are their hope, you are their future"
Come Meet our Pets
Since we are not an open shelter, we take appointments by phone or email. One of us will always be available to meet a potential adopter. We will be glad to help deliver if you are out of our area. Just give us a call. We can work out the details on an individual basis. Thanks

Dog adoption and cat
adoption saves lives. Adopt
a dog or adopt a cat and you'll
have a friend for life! What is the difference between adopting a dog, adopting
a cat, adopting a kitten or adopting a puppy versus getting dogs for sale, cats
for sale, puppies for sale or kittens for sale from a dog breeder or a cat breeder?
When someone is breeding puppies or breeding kittens, they are creating new dogs
and cats who need homes. Some people are interested in a very specific breed of
dog, cat, puppy or kitten and they think the only way to find that specific breed
is to buy a dog for sale or buy a cat for sale from a puppy breeder or a kitten
breeder. Yet animal shelters are filled with dogs and cats who must find homes.
So rather than buying a dog or puppy for sale from a dog breeder or buying a cat
or kitten for sale from a cat breeder, we encourage people to adopt a dog, adopt
a cat, adopt a puppy or adopt a kitten at their local animal shelter, SPCA, humane
society or pet rescue group.
