About Our Shelter
Most all of our cats are rescues. Many of them are from this past year's floods, some are drop-off's, and a good amount of them are from people asking us to help because they can no longer keep their cat's or they know of a cat that needs rescued. We try to do our best. We know each cat very well and care a great deal about their well being. Our most used veterinarian is Clear Lake Veterinarian which you are more than welcome to check out for references. Please consider us. We take in many more cats than go out.
We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit cooperation. Meanwhile we are barely functioning with all the expenses it takes to upkeep and care for all of our animals. Please keep us in mind not only for adopting out but also for any/all types of donations and not just for asking us for help.

Our Adoption Process
Adoption application must be filed, references checked and adoption agreement signed. Fee is negotiable and we do accept any type of donation.

What is the difference between adopting a cat or kitten versus getting cats for sale or kittens for sale from a cat breeder? When someone is breeding kittens, they are creating new cats who need homes. Some people are interested in a very specific breed of cat or kitten and they think the only way to find that specific breed is to buy a cat for sale from a kitten breeder. Yet animal shelters are filled with cats who must find homes. So rather than buying a cat or kitten for sale from a cat breeder, we encourage people to adopt a cat or adopt a kitten at their local animal shelter, SPCA, humane society or pet rescue group.
