Colorado Canine Rescue
About Our Rescue Group
Colorado Canine Rescue is a newly founded rescue group, which is located in Englewood, CO. We were incorporated in August of 2008 with a goal to help decrease the amount of dogs euthanized due to pet overpopulation. Our mission is to rescue dogs from shelters who are slated for euthanasia. Our dogs are cared for in foster homes while receiving proper training, veterinary care, and lots of love. For more information about our group, please visit our website www.coloradocaninerescue.org .
We currently need volunteers and foster homes, so please contact us if you would like to become involved!
Come Meet our Pets
Please contact us to schedule an appointment to meet any of our dogs!
Our Adoption Process
Upon adoption, each dog will be up-to-date on all vaccinations, spayed or neutered if of appropriate age and have a microchip identifier placed. A minimum $250 donation is required to cover these costs. Please review the adoption policy and procedures and complete the adoption application, which are posted on our website. Once adoption is approved, a signed adoption contract is required.
Dog adoption and cat
adoption saves lives. Adopt
a dog or adopt a cat and
you'll have a friend for life! What is the difference between adopting a dog
or puppy versus getting dogs for sale or puppies for sale from a dog breeder?
When someone is breeding puppies, they are creating new dogs who need homes.
Some people are interested in a very specific breed of dog or puppy and they
think the only way to find that specific breed is to buy a dog for sale from
a puppy breeder. Yet animal shelters are filled with dogs who must find homes.
So rather than buying a dog or puppy for sale from a dog breeder, we encourage
people to adopt a dog or adopt a puppy at their local animal shelter, SPCA,
humane society or pet rescue group.
