We do not post our pugs online. We match applications to pugs based on best fir with their living situation and lifestyle and about what we have learned about the pug while it was in foster care with us. A person interested in adopting a pug would submit an application either online or by mail and we would conduct an interview to learn more about the applicant, their family, their lifestyle, etc. and learn about their desired pug. We then match the pugs based on what we learn about the applicant and know about the foster pugs. The adoptions fees are based on age of the pug. All the pugs are vet cleared (UTD on shots, heartworm tested and negative, spayed/nuetered and microchipped).

About Ohio Pug Rescue
We are a pug rescue group that takes in any pug no matter their age, health and/or condition. The pugs all live in the homes of rescue volunteers till their forever homes are found. We attend pet events to make the public aware of rescues and shelters and to encourage everyone to adopt a dog and/or pet from a rescue or shelter. We do this for our love of pug and our love of animals. No animal deserves to be homeless. Their simple pleasure in life is human contact and we hope someday that all animals have forever homes.

When someone is breeding puppies or breeding kittens, they are creating new dogs and cats who need homes. Some people are interested in a very specific breed of dog, cat, puppy or kitten and they think the only way to find that specific breed is to buy a dog for sale or buy a cat for sale from a puppy breeder or a kitten breeder. Yet animal shelters are filled with dogs and cats who must find homes.
So rather than buying a dog or puppy for sale from a dog breeder or buying a cat or kitten for sale from a cat breeder, we encourage people to adopt a dog, adopt a cat, adopt a puppy or adopt a kitten at their local animal shelter, SPCA, humane society or pet rescue group.
