we are william and teresa smith administrators and founders of BIRDBRAINBILLYS EXOTIC BIRD SANCTUARY INC.a non-profit 501c-3 organization dedicated to the rescue, welfare and understanding exotic birds.we have3 30 years experience with wild and domestic birds ,specializing in large parrots and macaws,and are passionate about their proper care,wishing to educate other on these beautiful members of the animal kingdom. extinction is not a word that we want associated with this amazing species whose future we proudly protect. when we lived in new jersey years ago.we held a state license to rescue injured and orphaned wildlife. macaws ,parrots and smaller birds have been our love and inspiration since taking residence in south florida 14 years ago. our time is spent building aviaries and caring for the many birds who find themselves homeless due to family circumstances such as death, divorce,moving,health and unfortunately,sheer neglect or abuse.our labor of love is a full-time job . we do this to enable people to keep their companions through proper education and training and hands-on assistance
