About Our Rescue Group:

Fresh Start Horse Rescue is an all-volunteer, family-run, 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and a Colorado nonprofit corporation. We have been rescuing horses since 2005.
Our mission is to provide a fresh start for horses that are unwanted, abused, in danger of sale for slaughter or simply in a situation where their loving owners can no longer take care of them. We rescue, rehabilitate, re-socialize, care for, train and find permanent homes for all breeds of horses, and we have a special interest in abused mustangs.

You will need to learn what to feed them, how much exercise or attention your horse needs, and many other important things about how to house and care for a horse.
