About Our Rescue Group
-We rescue abandoned and homeless cats, dogs, rabbits and birds, provide veterinary care and rehabilitation, and adopt these animals to responsible, loving homes -Rescue and reunite lost companion animals them with their guardians -Educate animal guardians on responsible animal care and the importance of spaying and neutering -Provide financial assistance to low income families for spaying and neutering -Promote a compassionate and humane attitude within the community toward all animals. -Organize and facilitate spay/neuter “wellness“ clinics for cats and dogs on First Nations Reserves in order to reduce animal overpopulation and to alleviate and prevent suffering
Our Adoption Process
$250 dog adoption $ 75 cat adoption Adoption process – Potential adopters will be provided with a questionnaire to be completed and returned via email. A telephone interview will follow. We will require proof of home ownership or copy of lease or rental agreement along with landlord permission to have an animal companion. If applicable, copies of the condominium by-laws to assure animals are allowed in the complex. The foster home will have final approval of all applicants and a home check will follow Applicants will be required to sign our contract agreement. All animals must be spayed or neutered. We will recommend applicants sign up for obedience classes when adopting dogs. Some dogs will require confirmation of class registration.

for sale, puppies for sale or kittens for sale from a dog breeder or a cat breeder?
When someone is breeding puppies or breeding kittens, they are creating new dogs
and cats who need homes. Some people are interested in a very specific breed of
dog, cat, puppy or kitten and they think the only way to find that specific breed
is to buy a dog for sale or buy a cat for sale from a puppy breeder or a kitten
breeder. Yet animal shelters are filled with dogs and cats who must find homes.
So rather than buying a dog or puppy for sale from a dog breeder or buying a cat
or kitten for sale from a cat breeder, we encourage people to adopt a dog, adopt
a cat, adopt a puppy or adopt a kitten at their local animal shelter, SPCA, humane
society or pet rescue group.
