~ Mission Statement ~ Safe Animal Shelter is a 501(c)(3) non-profit "no kill" shelter. Our mission is to provide a temporary home for lost, abandoned, or abused dogs and cats in our area until a good permanent home can be found. "A Home Until They Find A Home"

All adoptable animals are available for viewing on our website. If you see them on our adoptables page they are in the shelter at that moment, but could have a pending application on them. Our shelter is open to the public on Monday-Wednesday, Friday and Saturday from 11:00am until 5:00pm.

Application Process - must be completed at shelter. Is reviewed in 2-3 working days. All adoptions include spay or neuter, all shots current for animal's age, and microchip for dogs. Adoption fee is $100 for Dogs and $85 for Cats. Fees are reduced for multiple animal adoptions, long term residents and special needs animals. We do take more than one application on an animal in which case the adopter will be chosen based on what we feel is the best home for that animal. See our website for additional information.
