Pets at Our Rescue Group:

Cities, Towns, and/or Counties We Serve:

We serve all of the lower pennisula in Michigan, plus parts of IN, IL, and Ohio.

About Our Rescue Group:

Hidden Horse Haven has been in the makings for a couple years. We ride, train, and show our personal horses. We take in rescues of all sorts. The only animal that we do not take in are dogs. We just don't have the room for them. We work mostly with large livestock and farm animals. We work very closely with animal control and our vet and farrier. Most of our animals are willingly turned over by their owners. Some are part of an animal seizure. We work with a lot of aggressive/dangerous horses. We rehab all our animals until they can safely be placed in a home. Why do we do it.......? I don't know how anyone can look at a suffering animal and NOT want to help it. I love them all. Old, young, sick, healthy. It doesn't matter to us.

Come Meet our Pets:

We are always open to visitors. We have all types of animals that the kids can come out and pet. We have horses, cows, chickens, turkey, ducks, pot bellied pigs, reindeer, rabbits, cats (lots of them), and a couple dogs. Feel free to bring your family to visit.

Our Adoption Process:

Our fees vary depending on the amount of time and effort involve in the rescue. We do not do an adoption contract. We have found that it scares away many potential good homes. We do agree to buy back any animal leaving our property. We do trial periods to insure a good match. We do not place any animal in a home that we find unsuitable.

Why should you adopt?

horses and farm-type animals can make wonderful pets, and rather than buying a horse and farm-type animal for sale or finding a horse and farm-type animal breeder, adopting a horse and farm-type animal from an animal shelter or rescue organization is the perfect way to add a horse and farm-type animal to your family. Keep in mind, there is a lot you will need to know when you provide a home for a horse and farm-type animal. You will need to learn what to feed them, how much exercise or attention your horse and farm-type animal needs, and many other important things about how to house and care for a horse and farm-type animal. There are different types of horses and farm-type animals .
