Cities, Towns, and/or Counties We Serve:

We are a registered non-profit organization dedicated to rehoming Labs in need.

About Our Rescue Group:

We are a non profit group dedicated to helping labs. We are the only lab rescue in the eastern provinces of Canada. I felt there was a need for a Lab rescue when I tried looking for one to volunteer for and couldn't find one. After looking on the internet and through the local paper I saw how many labs were looking for new homes. We now educate the public on the responsibilites that come with owning a dog to help alleviate the whimsical purchases of "that cute puppy in the window" who ends up looking for a home later.

Come Meet our Pets:

We hold an annual Lab Fest every June at a local off leash dog park.
All of our dogs are in foster care as we do not have a shelter.

Our Adoption Process:

We require all current pets be current on vet checks and spay/neutered if medically possible.
Our adoption fee is $175 with a training rebate of $50 if obedience is completed within 6 months of adoption.
All animals are up to date on vaccines, microchipped and registered with 24hr petwatch.
All come with 30 days of pet insurance.
We allow a 48hr home visit to ensure it is the right match and if at ANY time you can not keep your dog it MUST be returned to Lab Rescue.

Our Adopted Pets:

We have helped lots of pets connect with loving and caring owners. Check out our adopted pets list!

Why should you adopt?

Dog adoption and cat adoption saves lives. Adopt a dog or adopt a cat and you'll have a friend for life! What is the difference between adopting a dog or puppy versus getting dogs for sale or puppies for sale from a dog breeder? When someone is breeding puppies, they are creating new dogs who need homes. Some people are interested in a very specific breed of dog or puppy and they think the only way to find that specific breed is to buy a dog for sale from a puppy breeder. Yet animal shelters are filled with dogs who must find homes. So rather than buying a dog or puppy for sale from a dog breeder, we encourage people to adopt a dog or adopt a puppy at their local animal shelter, SPCA, humane society or pet rescue group.
