About Our Rescue Group:

My husband and myself started this rescue about 5 years ago to take dogs out of a local shelter. We payed for the dogs and then had to get them vetted. The shelter is gone but the need is still great. We take these dogs in to our homes, love them and find them a good home.

Come Meet our Pets:

We do by appointment only. We will let folks come to our house when it is prearranged but we will want to eventually do a home visit.

Our Adoption Process:

We are contacted by shelters, other rescues and dog owners to take a dog. We are a very small group of foster homes. We try not to have more than 2 in each foster home at a time. We live with these dogs, care/clean, get them altered and vaccinated, groomed if necessary. We put them on Petfinders and wait for folks to contact us. We try to get them to fill out our adoption questionnaire. We talk to them via the phone before we do the home visit. If they sound like they are good for the dog then we take the dog to them and make sure everything looks ok and adopt the dog. We charge as $50 to $150 adoption fee. Senior dogs go for $50 to $80, adult dogs for $100 and young dogs go for $125-$150.

After the adoption we check in with the new home once or twice to make sure everything is working out.

Why should you adopt?

Dog adoption and cat adoption saves lives. Adopt a dog or adopt a cat and you'll have a friend for life! What is the difference between adopting a dog, adopting a cat, adopting a kitten or adopting a puppy versus getting dogs for sale, cats for sale, puppies for sale or kittens for sale from a dog breeder or a cat breeder? When someone is breeding puppies or breeding kittens, they are creating new dogs and cats who need homes. Some people are interested in a very specific breed of dog, cat, puppy or kitten and they think the only way to find that specific breed is to buy a dog for sale or buy a cat for sale from a puppy breeder or a kitten breeder. Yet animal shelters are filled with dogs and cats who must find homes. So rather than buying a dog or puppy for sale from a dog breeder or buying a cat or kitten for sale from a cat breeder, we encourage people to adopt a dog, adopt a cat, adopt a puppy or adopt a kitten at their local animal shelter, SPCA, humane society or pet rescue group.
