About Our Shelter:

Friends Forever Rescue is a non-profit 501 (C) 3 Organization devoted to saving the lives of homeless abandoned dogs and to finding these animals a loving home. Friends Forever Rescue is a 100% no Kill Organization which means we peovide veterinary care, food, shelter, and love until we find a loving home, no matter how long it takes. All of us at Friends Forever are volunteers and our opening costs are met mainly through the generosity of friends and animal lovers like you.

We are at Petsmart located at 13621 South Dixie Highway. Miami, Florida, 33157, every Saturday between the hours of 10 am to 4 pm.
Our shelter location is 17425 SW 97 Ave, Palmetto Bay, Florida, 33157. Shelter hours are M-F, 9-12 and 1-5 p.m. Saturday 10-5. Sunday 11-4.
Our second location is Felix Varela High Scool located at 15255 SW 96 St, Miami, Florida, 33189. By appointment only.

Why should you adopt?

Dog adoption and cat adoption saves lives. Adopt a dog or adopt a cat and you'll have a friend for life! What is the difference between adopting a dog or puppy versus getting dogs for sale or puppies for sale from a dog breeder? When someone is breeding puppies, they are creating new dogs who need homes. Some people are interested in a very specific breed of dog or puppy and they think the only way to find that specific breed is to buy a dog for sale from a puppy breeder. Yet animal shelters are filled with dogs who must find homes. So rather than buying a dog or puppy for sale from a dog breeder, we encourage people to adopt a dog or adopt a puppy at their local animal shelter, SPCA, humane society or pet rescue group.
