We are a non-profit, No-Kill shelter. We rely primarily on donations from the public. We service Worcester County Maryland. Our mission is to provide food, vet care, and unconditional love till we find suitable loving homes for our pets. All of our pets are current on vaccines and neutered when old enough.

We are an organization based on volunteers. We have been a No-Kill shelter for 30 years. We encourage responsible pet ownership and strive to live in an animal friendly community.

No donation goes unappreciated!! Donations may be mailed to the shelter at PO Box 48 Berlin, MD 21811 or stop by the shelter. We are a non-profit shelter that operates almost entirely on donations!!

Come Meet our Pets:

We are open to the public from 11am to 3 pm. Mon, Wed, Fri, & Sat.

Our Adoption Process:

Our adoption fee is $50 for cats & dogs.
We require all potential adopters to fill out a pre-adoption form and visit the pet they are interested in at the shelter. We have a minimum of a 72hr waiting period.

When someone is breeding puppies or breeding kittens, they are creating new dogs and cats who need homes. Some people are interested in a very specific breed of dog, cat, puppy or kitten and they think the only way to find that specific breed is to buy a dog for sale or buy a cat for sale from a puppy breeder or a kitten breeder. Yet animal shelters are filled with dogs and cats who must find homes. So rather than buying a dog or puppy for sale from a dog breeder or buying a cat or kitten for sale from a cat breeder, we encourage people to adopt a dog, adopt a cat, adopt a puppy or adopt a kitten at their local animal shelter, SPCA, humane society or pet rescue group.
