OUR APPLICATION CONSISTS OF QUESTIONS REGARDING THE PRESENT LIVING CONDITIONS OF THE POTENTIAL ADOPTER. WE REQUIRE 2 UNRELATED REFERENCES, A VET REFERENCE, AS WELL AS OTHER INFORMATION. ADOPTION CONTRACT (ON APPROVAL OF APPLICATION) REQUIRES ALL DOGS TO BE INSIDE PETS AMONG OTHER ITEMS. ADOPTIONS FEES DEPEND ON THE DOG APPLIED FOR.

WE ARE A NON-PROFIT RESCUE WITH 26 YEARS EXPERIENCE IN THE RESCUE OF SENIOR DOGS (DOGS AGED 7 YRS AND OLDER). I HAVE WORKED AT A DOWN STATE HUMANE SOCIETY FOR 16 YEARS, WITH 2 OF THOSE AS A CRUELTY INVESTIGATOR. I ALSO HAVE 2 CERTIFICATES OF AWARD FROM THE HUMANE SOCIETY OF THE U.S. MOST DOGS EUTHANIZED AT SHELTERS ARE OLDER DOGS AS PEOPLE SAY THEY DO NOT WANT TO GET "ATTACHED" AND LOSE THEM SOON AFTER.
