About Our Rescue Group:

We are an all-volunteer, foster-based cocker spaniel rescue group serving Santa Barbara County, the Greater Sacramento area, Contra Costa County and the Greater San Francisco Bay Area in California. Our mission is finding loving homes for cocker spaniels in need. We provide medical care, spay/neuter and vaccinations for our foster dogs. We will help you select the right dog for your family and lifestyle.

Petsmart at 2705 Bidwell in Folsom every 3rd Saturday

We also are at Pet Food Express in Sacramento and Roseville on various Saturdays.

Our Adoption Process:

We require a completed adoption application which is on our website. Potential adopters are interviewed and any current pets are introduced to dog being considered for adoption. We also have an adoption contract which is signed upon approval of the adoption. Our fees are $350 for dogs under 3 years; $300 for dogs 4-7 years; and $200 for dogs over 8 years.

Why should you adopt?

Dog adoption and cat adoption saves lives. Adopt a dog or adopt a cat and you'll have a friend for life! What is the difference between adopting a dog or puppy versus getting dogs for sale or puppies for sale from a dog breeder? When someone is breeding puppies, they are creating new dogs who need homes. Some people are interested in a very specific breed of dog or puppy and they think the only way to find that specific breed is to buy a dog for sale from a puppy breeder. Yet animal shelters are filled with dogs who must find homes. So rather than buying a dog or puppy for sale from a dog breeder, we encourage people to adopt a dog or adopt a puppy at their local animal shelter, SPCA, humane society or pet rescue group.
