We serve the following : Massachusetts and surrounding states

About Our Rescue Group:

We are a small not for profit rescue that consists of all volunteers that foster in their homes, do transort or help in other ways.. Our rescue base is in Ware , Massachusetts. All donations and adoption fees go towards ther care of the foster dogs that come into the rescue.
As we are a rescue group we do not typically have a large amount of dogs in our care at one time. Our dogs are carefully matched to adoption applicants. Although we place our dogs throughout New England, we do not ship our rescues. After the difficult experiences, many of our dogs have experienced, we prefer them to not to suffer the trauma of a long journey. We receive dogs from their owners for various reasons I.E divorce, death , moving, lack of time, neglect. We also occassionally receive dogs from shelters that were dropped off there or picked up as a stray. The dogs ages vary, but the majority are middle aged.
We do this for the love of the breed

Come Meet our Pets:

All potential adopters can come meet the dog/dogs at their foster homes by appointment.

Why should you adopt?

Dog adoption and cat adoption saves lives. Adopt a dog or adopt a cat and you'll have a friend for life! What is the difference between adopting a dog or puppy versus getting dogs for sale or puppies for sale from a dog breeder? When someone is breeding puppies, they are creating new dogs who need homes. Some people are interested in a very specific breed of dog or puppy and they think the only way to find that specific breed is to buy a dog for sale from a puppy breeder. Yet animal shelters are filled with dogs who must find homes. So rather than buying a dog or puppy for sale from a dog breeder, we encourage people to adopt a dog or adopt a puppy at their local animal shelter, SPCA, humane society or pet rescue group.
