About Our Rescue Group:

We started rescuing rabbits in 1989 and within a few months, incorporated as the Washington state chapter of the House Rabbit Society.
In 1996 we opened a feral rabbit sanctuary in Redmond on 4 1/2 acres, with the rescue and relocation of 652 rabbits from a Redmond business Park.
Also, in 1996 we opened our shelter on Lake City Way, where we operated for 12 years (and we still maintain a store front there to help support our rescue).
In Jan 2008 we moved our shelter to Rabbit Meadows in Redmond where we plan to build a permanent shelter as funds permit.
We also board your rabbits or rodents while you're on vacation. Call for availability.

Why should you adopt?

rabbits and small animals can make wonderful pets, and rather than buying a rabbit and small animal for sale or finding a rabbit and small animal breeder, adopting a rabbit and small animal from an animal shelter or rescue organization is the perfect way to add a rabbit and small animal to your family. Keep in mind, there is a lot you will need to know when you provide a home for a rabbit and small animal. You will need to learn what to feed them, how much exercise or attention your rabbit and small animal needs, and many other important things about how to house and care for a rabbit and small animal. There are different types of rabbits and small animals .
