About Our Shelter:

We are a Non-profit, NO KILL animal rescue and shelter. We care for all domesticated pets and try to find them loving and forever homes. We currently use foster families to care for the animals until they are adopted out. All animals are vet checked, spayed & or neutered, up to date on shots prior to being adopted.

Since we use fosters you would need to contact us at if you are interested in seeing any of our pets. We have fosters in East Auora, Niagra Falls, Olcott, & Hamburg. We are having a fundraiser event on September 12, 2009 to benefit our rescue. There will be featured performers, entertainment, food, and a chinese auction. We will also have adoptable pets from our organization as well as other organizations!

Our Adoption Process:

We require that the adopter signs a contract and donates the fee in regards to cats which is $75 unless they are older than 7 years old in which the adoption fee is $50. Adoption fee for kittens is $85. Dogs are adopted for $110 and puppies are adopted for $120. If they are over 7 years old then the adoption fee is $85. Rabbies are $35, guinea pigs $15, hamsters or gerbils $10, rats $5 (or free with a donation of foods or goods, & ferrets are $75. Donations for birds, snakes, reptiles, & turtles vary with each pet.

What is the difference between adopting a dog, adopting a cat, adopting a kitten or adopting a puppy versus getting dogs for sale, cats for sale, puppies for sale or kittens for sale from a dog breeder or a cat breeder? When someone is breeding puppies or breeding kittens, they are creating new dogs and cats who need homes. Some people are interested in a very specific breed of dog, cat, puppy or kitten and they think the only way to find that specific breed is to buy a dog for sale or buy a cat for sale from a puppy breeder or a kitten breeder. Yet animal shelters are filled with dogs and cats who must find homes. So rather than buying a dog or puppy for sale from a dog breeder or buying a cat or kitten for sale from a cat breeder, we encourage people to adopt a dog, adopt a cat, adopt a puppy or adopt a kitten at their local animal shelter, SPCA, humane society or pet rescue group.
