Southern California Pomeranian Rescue is a non-profit 501 (c) (3) organization. As a non-profit, they rely on the generosity of dog lovers to assist them in continuing their mission of saving dogs in need. Every dollar raised provides care, medical services and an opportunity for an animal to have a second chance at a new and wonderful life.
The Southern California Pomeranian Rescue is always in need of…
Dog Food and Supplies – Crates, leashes, harnesses, collars, toys, blankets, food and dog bowls.
Veterinarian Services – Free or low cost services. Monetary Donations – $10 pays for a vaccination; $50 pays to spay/neuter a puppy, $200 covers all expenses for the average rescue.

All of the pomeranians that we take in are screened for behavioral issues and health problems prior to permanent placement with their new mommies and daddies. Behavioral screening means that we check to see if they get along with kids, the elderly, cats, dogs, and other animals. It also entails checking to see if they nip, are scared of fast movement, are jumpy, don't like to be touched in certain ways, chew excessively, etc. Medical screening means that we have them de-wormed, current on vaccines, free of parasites and communicable disease, are treated for pre-existing conditions, and declared healthy within manageable limits.
Why should you adopt?
Dog adoption and cat adoption saves lives. Adopt a dog or adopt a cat and you'll have a friend for life! What is the difference between adopting a dog or puppy versus getting dogs for sale or puppies for sale from a dog breeder? When someone is breeding puppies, they are creating new dogs who need homes. Some people are interested in a very specific breed of dog or puppy and they think the only way to find that specific breed is to buy a dog for sale from a puppy breeder. Yet animal shelters are filled with dogs who must find homes. So rather than buying a dog or puppy for sale from a dog breeder, we encourage people to adopt a dog or adopt a puppy at their local animal shelter, SPCA, humane society or pet rescue group.
