About Our Rescue Group:

Feisty Acres is a no-kill rescue organization that provides the supportive link needed during transition of a homeless animal into a permanent and qualified home. We offer loving care, sometimes with a foster home, and veterinarian treatment. Our rescue efforts give these animals a second chance to be adopted into loving homes. Those that cannot be adopted out to new homes, due to health problems or special needs, reside at our facility until the end of their natural lives.

Come Meet our Pets:

We have a permanent home at the local Petco store on State Road 200 in Ocala, Florida, and we are there each week-end from 10am to 4pm and during the week from 10am to noon.

Our Adoption Process:

Adoption Fee - $75 includes spay/neuter, test for feline leukemia/aids, treated for fleas, 2 vaccinations, and wormed. We have all applicants fill out a basic form to adopt.

Our Adopted Pets:

We have helped lots of pets connect with loving and caring owners. Check out our adopted pets list!

Why should you adopt?

Dog adoption and cat adoption saves lives. Adopt a dog or adopt a cat and you'll have a friend for life! What is the difference between adopting a cat or kitten versus getting cats for sale or kittens for sale from a cat breeder? When someone is breeding kittens, they are creating new cats who need homes. Some people are interested in a very specific breed of cat or kitten and they think the only way to find that specific breed is to buy a cat for sale from a kitten breeder. Yet animal shelters are filled with cats who must find homes. So rather than buying a cat or kitten for sale from a cat breeder, we encourage people to adopt a cat or adopt a kitten at their local animal shelter, SPCA, humane society or pet rescue group.
