About Our Rescue Group:

Our goal is simple- save as many dogs as we can, one dog at a time. We want to make a real difference for the canine population in our service area.
We rescue dogs from our local shelter--ones that need veterinary care, have run out of time or just need some extra attention to increase their chance for adoption.
We are a small organization and can only take care of a few dogs at a time. But for those few it is the difference between life and death. And that is what keeps us going. Along with the generous support of many animal lovers and friends.

Come Meet our Pets:

Please email us for additonal info, applications, etc.
We do not have a facility. Most of our dogs are located in Washington, NC.
We do not ship our dogs. We require adopters to come here to meet and pick up their new pet.

Our Adoption Process:

We require an application with references, both veterinarian and personal. Our adoption fee is $150. This fee helps to defray the costs of veterinary care as needed. We adopt our dogs on contract and like to stay in touch after adoption. We want to be supportive not intrusive.

Our Adopted Pets:

We have helped lots of pets connect with loving and caring owners. Check out our adopted pets list!

Why should you adopt?

Dog adoption and cat adoption saves lives. Adopt a dog or adopt a cat and you'll have a friend for life! What is the difference between adopting a dog or puppy versus getting dogs for sale or puppies for sale from a dog breeder? When someone is breeding puppies, they are creating new dogs who need homes. Some people are interested in a very specific breed of dog or puppy and they think the only way to find that specific breed is to buy a dog for sale from a puppy breeder. Yet animal shelters are filled with dogs who must find homes. So rather than buying a dog or puppy for sale from a dog breeder, we encourage people to adopt a dog or adopt a puppy at their local animal shelter, SPCA, humane society or pet rescue group.
