Abandoned Pet Rescue Inc
About Our Rescue Group
At Abandoned Pet Rescue Inc we are dedicated to the welfare of the animals, first and foremost. We want the new parents to be happy which will result in a happy pet.

We would like to expand our mission to include low cost spay/neuter programs for the pets in our areas. We realize the only way to no longer have unwanted pets in our shelters is to prevent them.

Come Meet our Pets
We operate the rescue from foster homes and depend upon those foster homes to provide temporary loving shelter for the animals in our care. We are always happy to have volunteers and new foster homes! Call if you are interested.

We set up outside Petsmart in Newnan, GA each Saturday. You may also meet any of our animals one-on-one by calling or emailing to set up an appointment.

Our Adoption Process
Our adoption process is simple: 1) The adopter fills out a questionaire which provides information on the home and environment where the dog will be living 2) We complete a contract which outlines what our organization provides and what we expect of the adoptive home 3) We require a pre-adoption and/or post-adoption home inspection 4) Your new family member can go home with you the same day.

Our adoption fee varies based upon the care the animal has required while with us. As you view each animal's description, we will include the adoption fee as well as any special needs or behavioral concerns.

Dog adoption and cat adoption saves lives. Adopt a dog or adopt a cat and you'll have a friend for life! What is the difference between adopting a dog or puppy versus getting dogs for sale or puppies for sale from a dog breeder? When someone is breeding puppies, they are creating new dogs who need homes. Some people are interested in a very specific breed of dog or puppy and they think the only way to find that specific breed is to buy a dog for sale from a puppy breeder. Yet animal shelters are filled with dogs who must find homes. So rather than buying a dog or puppy for sale from a dog breeder, we encourage people to adopt a dog or adopt a puppy at their local animal shelter, SPCA, humane society or pet rescue group.
