Crested Guardians, Inc.
About Our Rescue Group
Crested Guardians is a non-profit 501(c)(3) foundation comprised of a group of volunteers devoted to protecting and helping the Chinese Crested dog in need.
MISSION STATEMENT
With over fifty years of combined experience in rescuing Chinese Crested dogs, Crested Guardians is a group of dedicated volunteers living across the United States who work together to preserve and protect Chinese Cresteds in need. It is our mission to make a positive change in the lives of unwanted or abandoned Chinese Crested dogs through transporting, fostering, nurturing, socializing, providing medical care and professional, positive-reinforcement-based training. The ultimate goal of Cresteds Guardians is to place each rescued Crested into a loving forever home.
The members of Crested Guardians work closely with shelters, animal control officers and families needing to give up their Chinese Crested dog. We provide needed medical care, transportation, foster homes, and training for each dog that comes into our care. Our group works together as a team in a variety of ways and we often travel great distances in order to save one dog.

Dog adoption and cat
adoption saves lives. Adopt
a dog or adopt a cat and
you'll have a friend for life! What is the difference between adopting a dog
or puppy versus getting dogs for sale or puppies for sale from a dog breeder?
When someone is breeding puppies, they are creating new dogs who need homes.
Some people are interested in a very specific breed of dog or puppy and they
think the only way to find that specific breed is to buy a dog for sale from
a puppy breeder. Yet animal shelters are filled with dogs who must find homes.
So rather than buying a dog or puppy for sale from a dog breeder, we encourage
people to adopt a dog or adopt a puppy at their local animal shelter, SPCA,
humane society or pet rescue group.
