About Our Rescue Group
The Animal Love Foundation has been a non-profit registered organization since 1991, assisting over 10,000 abandoned animals in finding new loving homes.

We reach out to animals who are surrrendered by their current families, homeless, abused and/or neglected in London and surrounding areas.

While in the care of Animal Love, the animals recieve food, medical care, safety and a loving foster home until a "forever home" is found.

We do not have a shelter, so all of our cats and dogs are housed in wonderful foster homes until they are adopted.

Come Meet our Pets
Most of our dogs are available for viewing online, while they reside in foster homes. Our cats are up for adoption at both Petsmart locations, 3 Petvalu stores located at -Dundas and Clarke, Highbury and Huron and Sherwood forrest mall in London as well as Ruffins Pet center in Tillsonburg.
Our Adoption Process
Adoption of any of our animals requires an adoption fee (to cover the veterinary bills) and a strict screening process.

Our adoption fees for Dogs and Cats include:

- Vaccinations, we now include rabies
- Vet check
- Deworming
- Advantage/Revolution (Flea treatment)
- Rabies (if 12 wks of age or older)
- Spay/Neuter (if the animal is 4-5 months or over, they will be fixed; if not, a spay/neuter voucher is given to the new owner to help defer the cost of the surgery)

What is the difference between adopting a dog, adopting a cat, adopting a kitten or adopting a puppy versus getting dogs for sale, cats for sale, puppies for sale or kittens for sale from a dog breeder or a cat breeder? When someone is breeding puppies or breeding kittens, they are creating new dogs and cats who need homes. Some people are interested in a very specific breed of dog, cat, puppy or kitten and they think the only way to find that specific breed is to buy a dog for sale or buy a cat for sale from a puppy breeder or a kitten breeder. Yet animal shelters are filled with dogs and cats who must find homes. So rather than buying a dog or puppy for sale from a dog breeder or buying a cat or kitten for sale from a cat breeder, we encourage people to adopt a dog, adopt a cat, adopt a puppy or adopt a kitten at their local animal shelter, SPCA, humane society or pet rescue group.
