Cities, Towns, and/or Counties We Serve:
We adopt black and "blacklist" dogs from several neighboring county shelters in North Carolina. We are available to transport our rescue dogs to their forever homes from southern North Carolina all the way to Maine! Please contact us for dates and possible fees.
We are a small, home based dog rescue in the heart of North Carolina. Our main focus is to raise awareness of the black dog syndrome and find forever homes for black and "blacklist" dogs. Black dogs are very often overlooked in shelters and are the least likely to be adopted. There are many theories behind this phenomena, but we know that black dogs can offer the same friendship as dogs of any color. By "blacklist" dogs, we mean dogs who have been unjustly given a bad reputation through media and fear. These breeds include pit bulls, rottweilers, dobermans and other large breed dogs. As lifelong owners of these breeds, we know the love, loyalty and lifelong companionship these dogs can give. Please see our website for more information.

Come Meet our Pets:
To meet our adoptable pets, please call or email to make an appointment. We will be having an adoption event on a monthly basis, coming soon.
Our Adoption Process:
We require an adoption application that helps us learn more about you, your home and your ability to give a dog a loving forever home. We also have a contract that we both sign, when a dog has been chosen and application has been approved. See our website for both documents and adoption fees.
Our Adopted Pets:
We have helped lots of pets connect with loving and caring owners. Check out our adopted pets list!
