About Our Rescue Group:
Care About the Strays (C.A.T.S) dba CatsforAdoption is a Rockland County, NY non-profit group devoted to helping homeless cats and kittens find loving homes.After a cat or kitten is rescued, it is given a complete examination by a licensed veterinarian which includes:
rabies and distemper shots, feline aids and leukemia testing and neutering (when age appropriate).
Cats and kittens to be adopted are fostered in our homes by experienced volunteers and given lots of love and attention prior to adoption.

Come meet Ilene and Natalie with our cats and kittens needing homes at PetSmart in Nanuet, NY located on Route 59 every Saturday and SundayOR
see Ilene or Natalie to scedule a visit with cat or kitten in one of our foster homes.
Our Adoption Process:
We care deeply about these pets and want to find them forever homes.Our adoption process includes:
an in-person interview,
completion of pre-adoption forms,
agreement of pet owner responsibilities,
obtaining references, and signing of a contract.
We accept returns if the pet doesn't work out and
provide extensive helpline support.
