About Our Rescue Group
We are a 501 (c) (3) animal welfare group. We are animal lovers and want to help better their lives. We have rescued over 300 animals since we began in October 2009. We are not a shelter and do not keep animals at our homes. We are in need of loving people to foster death row and unwanted dogs and cats. If you can foster or want to adopt one of our pets we could sure use your help and the animals really do appreciate feeling like they are loved and wanted. Fostering requires feeding, sheltering, driving them to vet appointments as well as driving them to adoption events and sitting with the foster pet to tell potential adopters about your special foster dog or cat, etc.
Come Meet our Pets
Please consider adopting an unwanted animal. They suffer a great deal being jailed in a shelter or running scared on the streets with no one to care for them and no one to love them.
If you would like to meet a pet simply email us at 2canrescue@gmail.com and leave us a phone number so we can call you to discuss a pet. Visit either of our web sites at http://www.2canrescue.net or http://www.2canrescue.petfinder.org
Our Mailing Address is P.O. Box 5612 Clovis, New Mexico 88102
Our Adoption Process
To adopt an animal, adopters must fill out an adoption application and sign an adoption agreement and be approved before accepting the dog. Have a home visit. Give a good vet reference and a good personal reference. All references will be verified. Adopters must have a fully fenced yard. No chaining of any dog is an acceptable way of containing a dog in a yard and will not be tolerated. Go to our site http://www.2canrescue.net to get our application and agreement.
Dog adoption and cat
adoption saves lives. Adopt
a dog or adopt a cat and you'll
have a friend for life! What is the difference between adopting a dog, adopting
a cat, adopting a kitten or adopting a puppy versus getting dogs for sale, cats
for sale, puppies for sale or kittens for sale from a dog breeder or a cat breeder?
When someone is breeding puppies or breeding kittens, they are creating new dogs
and cats who need homes. Some people are interested in a very specific breed of
dog, cat, puppy or kitten and they think the only way to find that specific breed
is to buy a dog for sale or buy a cat for sale from a puppy breeder or a kitten
breeder. Yet animal shelters are filled with dogs and cats who must find homes.
So rather than buying a dog or puppy for sale from a dog breeder or buying a cat
or kitten for sale from a cat breeder, we encourage people to adopt a dog, adopt
a cat, adopt a puppy or adopt a kitten at their local animal shelter, SPCA, humane
society or pet rescue group.
