Cities, Towns, and/or Counties We Serve:

We serve West Los Angeles County, Beverly Hills, Santa Monica, Hollywood, West Hollywood and beach cities in Orange County, California.

About Our Rescue Group:

We are a very small group, family and a few friends rescuing cats/kittens from the streets of Los Angeles and Orange Counties. We are not a non-profit yet, but any donations, including food, litter, veterinary care, etc is greatly appreciated. We currently cover all costs for the rescue, health and welfare of each cat ourselves.

Our goal is to create "No Kill" country. And to re-educate the public on the virtues of adopting a pet in need vs purchasing from a pet store or breeder. Rescue animals are every bit as healthy and "normal" as those purchased.

Our Adoption Process:

Our adoption fees are $150.00 for kittens; $100.00 for adult cats. We require an application, a home check visit and a contract. If you rent we need to see verification that a cat will be acceptable to your landlord. If you currently have a pet we like to have a "get acquainted" period to make sure they get along and also your vet information. We require a commitment to keep the cats as indoor only pets, no declawing and to maintain the health and well being of the cat for the lifetime of the cat. If you are unable to perform the required tasks, we would stipulate that the cat be returned to SoCal Kitty Camp.

Our Adopted Pets:

We have helped lots of pets connect with loving and caring owners. Check out our adopted pets list!

Why should you adopt?

Dog adoption and cat adoption saves lives. Adopt a dog or adopt a cat and you'll have a friend for life! What is the difference between adopting a cat or kitten versus getting cats for sale or kittens for sale from a cat breeder? When someone is breeding kittens, they are creating new cats who need homes. Some people are interested in a very specific breed of cat or kitten and they think the only way to find that specific breed is to buy a cat for sale from a kitten breeder. Yet animal shelters are filled with cats who must find homes. So rather than buying a cat or kitten for sale from a cat breeder, we encourage people to adopt a cat or adopt a kitten at their local animal shelter, SPCA, humane society or pet rescue group.
