Pets at Our Rescue Group:
Cities, Towns, and/or Counties We Serve:
We are located in S.W. Utah and serve all of that area. However, we are not limited to Utah and do pull dogs from kills shelters in California, Arizona, and New Mexico. We will place dogs out of state for adoption but require that the adopter make a trip to Utah to meet the dog in person or arrange to meet the foster parent halfway between a destination. We do not fly our dogs. If you are adopting from out of state we do require a vet reference letter and, when possible, will ask a local group to make a home visit prior to placement.
BAM is a nonprofit, animal welfare group dedicated to reducing animal abuse and neglect through education. We also help support our local shelters by taking animals into foster care. BAM does not have a shelter or public facility. All of our animals stay in homes of caring individuals who volunteer their time to help socialize and train them so they are ready for their new families. We are willing to transport our animals any where in the US if the family is the right fit.
Come Meet our Pets:
BAM has adoption events every month in S.W. Utah. Watch Facebook and our web page for dates and location. We do not have a facility and all of our pets are lovingly cared for in private foster homes. Arrangements to see the pet you are interested in much be made with the foster parent.
Our Adoption Process:
Adopting a forever friend can be easy. Just call or e-mail and we can make arrangements for a personal visit. Phone lines are open between 9am-4pm, if no one is available be sure to leave a detailed, clear message with name and phone number. Our animals are healthy, up to date on their shots and spayed or neutered. Adoption fees range from $0 to $200. This may differ depending on breed and the age of the dog. Adoption fees cover the costs for spay/neuter, shots and some training provided while the animal is in foster care.
