We Serve the Following Cities, Towns, and/or Counties: Autumn Hollow Sanctuary offers safe haven for birds (specifically psiticines) in need of a new home. We offer both permanent snactuary and adoption services, depending on the case. We are a no-kill facility serving the Edmonton, St. Albert, Parkland County, Lac Ste Anne County areas. Drop offs by apointment only.

About Our Rescue Group

Autumn Hollow is operated by Autumn & Twyla Domoslai. We operate this shelter because somebody needs to do it. There is far too little care about the plight of parrots (as well as other animals) and what they are put through by both breeders and poachers. We would like to not have to have this job. We hate seeing what we see. These are wild animals that do not belong in captivity. We try to give them love, warm beds and full tummies and we try to educate people who want a pretty accessory that talks.

Come Meet our Pets

We are located about 35 minutes from Edmonton near Alberta Beach. We hold an Open House Adoption and fundraiser one weekend a month. Animals are available for adoption any time. Times of open houses are posted on our Facebook page (Autumn Hollow Sanctuary Animal Rescue) as well as our website. Other than during the open houses, please make an appoinment.

Our Adoption Process

If we decide an animal is ready for a new Forever Home, our adoption policy is strict. If an applicant is successful, it will be required that they sign a contract agreeing to the following:
*Animals will never be bred, sold or given away. If this is not complied with, we will take legal action and the animal (as well as any of it's offspring)will be seized. If an 'accidental' breeding takes place (sometimes lovebvirds can't help themselves!) the offspring, if not kept, will be placed in the care of Autumn Hollow Sanctuary.
*If it is not working out or circumstances change, the animal is to be returned to Autumn Hollow Sanctuary. No exceptions. Legal action will be taken if this is not adhered to.
*No smokers or breeders need apply.
*We rarely adopt animals out to families with small children. Parrots are never adopted to families with small children.

Dog adoption and cat adoption saves lives. Adopt a dog or adopt a cat and you'll have a friend for life! What is the difference between adopting a cat or kitten versus getting cats for sale or kittens for sale from a cat breeder? When someone is breeding kittens, they are creating new cats who need homes. Some people are interested in a very specific breed of cat or kitten and they think the only way to find that specific breed is to buy a cat for sale from a kitten breeder. Yet animal shelters are filled with cats who must find homes. So rather than buying a cat or kitten for sale from a cat breeder, we encourage people to adopt a cat or adopt a kitten at their local animal shelter, SPCA, humane society or pet rescue group.
