About Our
Rescue
Group:
Loli was the beloved rescued pet of our group's founders, and Loli's Place was created in her honor. We are a non-profit (501c3) animal rescue organization. We take animals from high-kill shelters and place them safely with foster families until a permanent home can be found. We strive to reduce the companion animal overpopulation problem by spaying and neutering as many animals as possible. Our adoption philosophy is based upon our belief in canine "match-making". Our foster care program allows us to thoroughly evaluate our dogs and thus provide our adopters with specific information so that they may make an informed choice. We are also actively involved in humane education, and we present lessons to young people of all ages. Please contact us if you'd like more information, or to schedule a class.
Come Meet our Pets:
We regularly schedule adoption events at local venues throughout NJ & eastern PA. Contact us to learn more about our upcoming events. Available pets may also be met through appointments scheduled with their foster families.
Our Adoption Process:
Our adoption process begins with the completion of an application (email us to obtain one). We will then contact you by phone (we are very quick, as we know you are excited about adopting), and we will set up a time for a meet & greet and a home visit. The adoption is completed when everyone is happy: you, the dog, and the dog's foster parents. We strive to make the adoption a good fit for all involved. Only then will we sign the adoption contract. Our adoption fees are $250 for adult dogs, $100 for seniors (age for this qualification varies by breed), and $300 for puppies 9 months and younger. These fees help us to pay for the veterinary care your new companion has received: all animals are spayed/neutered and up to date on all vaccines. In addition, they are kept on monthly heartworm preventatives and flea/tick preventatives.
