About Our Rescue Group
We are a rescue/re-home program that takes in abandoned, homeless and unwanted animals. We work very hard to find new furever homes for our rescues. I began this program 5 and 1/2 years ago when our county humane society was closed down. Our county currently feels no need to worry about these animals. I have been a lifelong rescuer, all of my pets, currently 10 dogs and 5 cats, are all rescue animals. They mean the world to me and I want to help as many animals as I can while I am on this earth. I got together many animal lovers in the area and we have had our rescue efforts continue to grow over time and have recently become a 501c3 to help continue our efforts to save the animals. We want to see that no animal goes without love, shelter, food and a happy life. We also work on educating the public about the overpopulation problem, we promote spay/neuter programs and I do group tours at our facility to teach about the rescue rehome world, I also visit schools to teach the children about animal abuse, neglect and what they can do to help prevent these tragedies.
Come Meet our Pets
Our program is located at 1374 Hwy 65 in New Richmond, Wi. We are open daily from 8am until 12noon and then again from 4pm until 8pm. You may visit our adoptable pets during these times. We are also available by appointment if these times do not work with a parties schedule.
Our Adoption Process
Each person interested must come out meet the dogs fill out a 6 page application with all references being checked. We have a home visit and we require that if there are other dogs in the home that they too come meet the new addition before committing to the adoption. we require fencing for all of our larger dogs. We spay and neuter all animals prior to leaving with the exception of very young animals then we require a deposit and a spay neuter vocher is given with a specified date and once the voucher is returned they will receive their deposit back. Animals will be confiscated if they do not follow through with the requirements as stated in our contract.

Dog adoption and cat adoption saves lives. Adopt a dog or adopt a cat and you'll have a friend for life! What is the difference between adopting a dog, adopting a cat, adopting a kitten or adopting a puppy versus getting dogs for sale, cats for sale, puppies for sale or kittens for sale from a dog breeder or a cat breeder? When someone is breeding puppies or breeding kittens, they are creating new dogs and cats who need homes. Some people are interested in a very specific breed of dog, cat, puppy or kitten and they think the only way to find that specific breed is to buy a dog for sale or buy a cat for sale from a puppy breeder or a kitten breeder. Yet animal shelters are filled with dogs and cats who must find homes. So rather than buying a dog or puppy for sale from a dog breeder or buying a cat or kitten for sale from a cat breeder, we encourage people to adopt a dog, adopt a cat, adopt a puppy or adopt a kitten at their local animal shelter, SPCA, humane society or pet rescue group.
