Our Adoption Process
If you are interested in one of my dogs, please contact me so we can schedule an appointment in which you can meet the dog. You may also get started on the adoption application which may be downloaded from this website. In addition to the questions contained within the application, I also require that you list at least three respectable references of whom I can contact regarding your character and reliability in the guardianship of this dog. Once the application is completed and approved, I will then preform a home visit. I will also have you spend approximately 2-4 hours with me one day, just so you can observe how the dog is living with me. If you can mimic some of the ways in which I interact with her, at least in the beginning, I believe the dog and her new parents will bond much faster. I also require potential adopters to watch the video, "Eat, Drink, and Wag Your Tail." This video can either be purchased online, or you can check it out from me for a $25 deposit fee. The $25 deposit will be returned once the video is returned to me in good condition. Lastly, the signing of the adoption agreement and collection of the adoption fee.
Dog adoption and cat
adoption saves lives. Adopt
a dog or adopt a cat and
you'll have a friend for life! What is the difference between adopting a dog
or puppy versus getting dogs for sale or puppies for sale from a dog breeder?
When someone is breeding puppies, they are creating new dogs who need homes.
Some people are interested in a very specific breed of dog or puppy and they
think the only way to find that specific breed is to buy a dog for sale from
a puppy breeder. Yet animal shelters are filled with dogs who must find homes.
So rather than buying a dog or puppy for sale from a dog breeder, we encourage
people to adopt a dog or adopt a puppy at their local animal shelter, SPCA,
humane society or pet rescue group.
