About Our Rescue Group:

Leftover Pets is a small organization with only 2 foster homes. It is our goal to find homes for formerly unwanted shelter pets and make sure these pets are happy in their new forever home. We can always use volunteers at our adoption events, help with fundraising or help with behind the scenes work such as website updates, e-mail newsletters, etc. Even a small amount of time can really help the animals!

Come Meet our Pets:

We hold adoptions at the Petsmart in Duluth, GA. Cats are available in the 24/7 adoption center.

Our Adoption Process:

Our adoption fee is $35 for cats. All are spay/neutered prior to adoption. The cats are also tested neg for feline leukemia, microchipped, dewormed, treated for fleas and are given an FVRCP vaccination. If at least 12 weeks old, the cat has also had a rabies vaccination. We do have a contract for you to fill out once you select the right cat for your family. All health records will be provided to you at the time of adoption.

Our Adopted Pets:

We have helped lots of pets connect with loving and caring owners. Check out our adopted pets list!

Why should you adopt?

Dog adoption and cat adoption saves lives. Adopt a dog or adopt a cat and you'll have a friend for life! What is the difference between adopting a cat or kitten versus getting cats for sale or kittens for sale from a cat breeder? When someone is breeding kittens, they are creating new cats who need homes. Some people are interested in a very specific breed of cat or kitten and they think the only way to find that specific breed is to buy a cat for sale from a kitten breeder. Yet animal shelters are filled with cats who must find homes. So rather than buying a cat or kitten for sale from a cat breeder, we encourage people to adopt a cat or adopt a kitten at their local animal shelter, SPCA, humane society or pet rescue group.
