Cities, Towns, and/or Counties We Serve:
THANK YOU FOR LOOKING TO SAVE AN URGENT RESCUE DOG!!! WE ARE A REFERRAL RESCUE, WE NOT HAVE A SHELTER FACILITY HOWEVER WE DO SOMETIMES HAVE FOSTER HOMES WILLING TO HELP GET THESE DOGS TO SAFETY IN VARIOUS AREAS OF NEW ENGLAND. WE VOLUNTEER OUR SERVICES BY USING THE SHELTER CONNECTIONS WE HAVE TO SAVE HIGH KILL SHELTER DOGS AND COORDINATE GETTING YOUR RESCUED DOG TO YOU SAFELY AS WELL AS ENSURING PROPER DESCRIPTIONS OF ALL BEHAVIORS OF THE DOGS LISTED ON OUR SITE. ALL DOGS ARE SAVED BASED ON TEMPERAMENT ONLY. WE SPECIALIZE IN PLACING THE RIGHT DOG TO THE RIGHT FAMILY SO IT'S A FOREVER MATCH AND BECAUSE IT'S NOT IDEAL FOR MOST TO ADOPT A DOG SIGHT UNSEEN, WE OFFER OUR SERVICES AS "BACK-UP" WITH US HERE IN NEW ENGLAND. This means that if you adopt a dog from any of the shelters in the south that list dogs on our site and it doesn't work out, we will place your dog in a more suitable home for you and/or offer training advice, fostering and veterinary recommendations!About Our Rescue Group:
We are a rescue referral service, which means that we help other rescues advertise and screen to place dogs and get them to safe areas of the country. Please refer to the rescue information on each posting to speak directly with the caretaker for their listing and contact us for any help in coordinating transport or with questions about adoption and the processes.Come Meet our Pets:
Our pets are fostered in New England or need to find homes from the southern states we rescue them from in order to save their lives. Our Adoption Process:
We screen all applicants through an application that can be found on our website, www.petfinder.com/shelters/ME97.htmlOur adoption fee varies, but is typically $275-$350 (including transport to New England) depending on their vet charges.
