Cooper's Pet Rescue
About Our Rescue Group
Cooper's Pet Rescue is a family rescue group out of Redding, CT. The name Cooper came from my beloved Black Lab who welcomes many new four legged friend's into his home. The rest of the group includes my three little boys who are always excited about a new foster to love and play with and my very patient husband who with out him I could not manage this rescue. I have been rescueing for the past two years when I discovered the overpopulation of dogs in the South and how many dogs were being euthanized, shot or even worse buried alive. I knew that I had to help and could not turn my back on all these dogs in need, so that is when I started my small rescue group. I only adopt out highly adoptable dogs that will make great family pets. We are always updating out site, so please keep looking and if there is a breed that you don't see, I can do my best to get that perfect dog for you.
Our Adoption Process
Our adoption process is simple. Request an application. Fill out the application and it will be processed within a 48 hour period, then when you are approved to adopt you will sign the contract and pay the adoption fee. It is as simple as that.
Dog adoption and cat
adoption saves lives. Adopt
a dog or adopt a cat and
you'll have a friend for life! What is the difference between adopting a dog
or puppy versus getting dogs for sale or puppies for sale from a dog breeder?
When someone is breeding puppies, they are creating new dogs who need homes.
Some people are interested in a very specific breed of dog or puppy and they
think the only way to find that specific breed is to buy a dog for sale from
a puppy breeder. Yet animal shelters are filled with dogs who must find homes.
So rather than buying a dog or puppy for sale from a dog breeder, we encourage
people to adopt a dog or adopt a puppy at their local animal shelter, SPCA,
humane society or pet rescue group.
