About Our Rescue Group:

We have been animal advocates all of our lives. We have been breeders and trainers of dogs and horses. We have never been able to stand by and watch an animal suffer. I suppose our Founder and CEO being a Native American and having such a love for all creatures is part of why we do what we do. We do it because no dog has a choice in where they live or who they live with and a lot of people don't understand the life commitment these animals deserve. We are a NO KILL Shelter/Rescue and consequently our dogs must meet strict standards to become part of our programs. First and foremost they must be of Pet Quality.

Our Adoption Process:

Adopter and dog must be able to socialize. Dog socialization means adjusting and accepting a new family without showing outward fear or aggression towards any family member. A $150.00 tax deductible donation fee is due and payable when the contract is signed for in state adoptions, plus $10.00 for microchip. Out of state adoptions require references from your Veterinarian and a close friend or family member.

Our Adopted Pets:

We have helped lots of pets connect with loving and caring owners. Check out our adopted pets list!

Why should you adopt?

Dog adoption and cat adoption saves lives. Adopt a dog or adopt a cat and you'll have a friend for life! What is the difference between adopting a dog or puppy versus getting dogs for sale or puppies for sale from a dog breeder? When someone is breeding puppies, they are creating new dogs who need homes. Some people are interested in a very specific breed of dog or puppy and they think the only way to find that specific breed is to buy a dog for sale from a puppy breeder. Yet animal shelters are filled with dogs who must find homes. So rather than buying a dog or puppy for sale from a dog breeder, we encourage people to adopt a dog or adopt a puppy at their local animal shelter, SPCA, humane society or pet rescue group.
