A New Beginning Feline Rescue and Adoption, Inc
About Our Rescue Group
We are a 501 (c) non profit "no kill" rescue organization. We concentrate our efforts to save stray, abandoned, and feral cats. Our mission is to find "Forever Homes for Felines"
We have been successful in saving over 600 cats and kittens since our organization was formed in 2006.
Come Meet our Pets
Because we are not a shelter, all of our cats are placed in foster homes. We show our available cats by appointment only or at adoption events which are held several times at year at the local Care A Lot Store and the Hampton PETCO store in partnership with The Cat Corner, Inc. Other volunteers in our organization also shows cats at the PetSmart Store in Newport News.
Our Adoption Process
We only adopt to families in the above Hampton Roads, VA area. We require a pre-adopt application process before the adoption and adoption contract can be completed. We require references and prefer a vet reference, if possible. Our current adoption fee is $120.00.
We require that our cats be strictly indoor cats unless a barn cat has been placed.

Dog adoption and cat adoption saves lives. Adopt a dog or adopt a cat and you'll have a friend for life! What is the difference between adopting a cat or kitten versus getting cats for sale or kittens for sale from a cat breeder? When someone is breeding kittens, they are creating new cats who need homes. Some people are interested in a very specific breed of cat or kitten and they think the only way to find that specific breed is to buy a cat for sale from a kitten breeder. Yet animal shelters are filled with cats who must find homes. So rather than buying a cat or kitten for sale from a cat breeder, we encourage people to adopt a cat or adopt a kitten at their local animal shelter, SPCA, humane society or pet rescue group.
