About Our Rescue Group
We are a network of volunteers in the State of California that temporarily provide for the health and well being of Jack Russell Terriers given to Russell Rescue, Inc by their owners who can no longer care for them, or we pull Jack Russell Terriers housed in shelters before they are euthanized.
We are funded by donations and supported by Jack Russell Terrier lovers and volunteers throughout the world.
Come Meet our Pets
If you would like to meet one of our terriers, please contact Kathy Sube at Kathy@russellrescueca.com or go to our website www.russellrescueca.com
Our Adoption Process
The first step in meeting or adopting a Terrier from Russell Rescue, Inc. is to complete an online Russell Rescue, Inc. application. All applicants are thoroughly screened and must meet certain qualifications before being referred for a terrier. Approval is based upon the understanding and acceptance of the nature of the terrier, the owner's lifestyle, and their ability to house the dog properly.
Adoption fees for the individual dogs is on our website www.russellrescueca.com with a description of each dog.
Dog adoption and cat
adoption saves lives. Adopt
a dog or adopt a cat and
you'll have a friend for life! What is the difference between adopting a dog
or puppy versus getting dogs for sale or puppies for sale from a dog breeder?
When someone is breeding puppies, they are creating new dogs who need homes.
Some people are interested in a very specific breed of dog or puppy and they
think the only way to find that specific breed is to buy a dog for sale from
a puppy breeder. Yet animal shelters are filled with dogs who must find homes.
So rather than buying a dog or puppy for sale from a dog breeder, we encourage
people to adopt a dog or adopt a puppy at their local animal shelter, SPCA,
humane society or pet rescue group.
