About 4 Paws Boxer Rescue

We are a small "Not for profit" boxer rescue in Mid-Michigan. We have been owned by Boxers for 8 years and have helped rescue/foster boxers for the past 6 years.

We pay for all food, toys, crates, medical, spay/neuter surgeries either out of pocket or by Adoption fee donations.

We will open our home and lives up to any boxer dog needing a home. If we do not have room at the time we may either refer you to other rescues or help you rehome your pet without taking custody of your pet.

All rescues are raised and live happily indoors. Crate training does take place in our home but our Boxer buddies are only crated for special medical reasons, to sleep, or when we have to go away for a little while. IF your boxer prefers to sleep in his/her crate, that is not a problem with us!

We have a large fenced in back yard for your boxer to run and play.

**ALL BOXERS ARE SPAYED/NEUTERED PRIOR TO LEAVING FOR THEIR NEW FAMILIES AND FUTURES**

We will do whatever we can to keep you in close contact with the new family of your best friend but we can not guarantee this.

All boxers are Temperment tested and placed in only the best homes that will most closely fit your home and lifestyle.

If at any time the posibility of needing to rehome your rescued boxer comes about, we require that each and every boxer is returned to us.

All adoption applicants must fill out a manditory adoption application. You must Own your home.

We do not adopt to renters due to the possibility of needing to be rehomed under a temporary residence.

Adopt a Pet is the easiest way for you to search for a new pet in Lansing, MI.

Support adoption and rescue. Why go to a dog breeder, cat breeder or pet store to buy a dog or buy a cat when you can adopt?

Why should you adopt?

Dog adoption and cat adoption saves lives. Adopt a dog or adopt a cat and you'll have a friend for life.

What is the difference between adopting a dog, adopting a cat, adopting a kitten or adopting a puppy versus getting dogs for sale, cats for sale, puppies for sale or kittens for sale from a dog breeder or a cat breeder?

When someone is breeding puppies or breeding kittens, they are creating new dogs and cats who need homes. Some people are interested in a very specific breed of dog, cat, puppy or kitten and they think the only way to find that specific breed is to buy a dog for sale or buy a cat for sale from a puppy breeder or a kitten breeder. Yet animal shelters are filled with dogs and cats who must find homes.

So rather than buying a dog or puppy for sale from a dog breeder or buying a cat or kitten for sale from a cat breeder, we encourage people to adopt a dog, adopt a cat, adopt a puppy or adopt a kitten at their local animal shelter, SPCA, humane society or pet rescue group.
