Pets at Our Rescue Group:
Cities, Towns, and/or Counties We Serve:
We serve all of Southern California, Los Angeles, Orange, San Bernardino, Riverside, Ventura counties as well as the San Diego area and the Santa Barbara and San Luis Obispo areas.
We also have a few dogs in the San Francisco Bay Area.
Sachi Animal Rescue was created in September 2009 by a group of dog loving volunteers. We are a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization staffed entirely by volunteers who donate their time and money to find homes for hard to place canines. We specialize in rescuing, rehabilitating and placing companion dogs(primarily, but not exclusively, the Boxer breed) that have otherwise been abandoned and neglected or abused, into loving homes.
We do this because there is such a huge amount of dogs euthanized every day who could have been great pets if only they'd been given the chance. We do this because even though saving one life at a time may seem futile, one life saved is still a victory.
Come Meet our Pets:
Sachi Animal rescue does not operate a kennel. Our dogs are currently boarded in foster homes or training facilities. Dogs will be shown by private appointments only.
Our Adoption Process:
Adoption donation starts at $400.00 .
In order to first qualify for an appointment, applicants are required to fill out a thorough questionnaire about their home, lifestyle, dog experience as well as insurance coverage for certain breeds, adequate fencing, etc. We want to make sure the dog will be a full time member of the family and be treated as such, all his/her needs will be met and exceeded and will never be denied medical coverage.
Once the potential adopter qualifies, an appointment will be scheduled to meet the dog(s).
Going forward, the adopter will fill out a Sachi Animal Rescue adoption contract .
The dog will not be delivered to the adopter until a thorough homecheck has been done.
Trainers will be available free of charge to make sure the transition into the home goes smoothly.
