Pets at Our Rescue Group:
Cities, Towns, and/or Counties We Serve:Canine Rescue of North Augusta works with shelters in SC, GA, and NC.
About Our Rescue Group:Canine Rescue is a non-profit 501(c)(3) rescue.
We are a small group staffed by 2 full-time and 2 part-time volunteers and 2 full-time foster homes.
Most of our dogs are pulled from high-kill shelters in SC, GA, and NC. The rest of our adoptables are "puppy mill survivors." We also incur costs to rescue these dogs just as we do with the shelters.
Please feel free to ask questions - we are more than willing to share our experiences, answer any questions, and we strongly encourage you to do what YOU can to help! Ask us how you can help those who cannot speak for themselves!
Come Meet our Pets:All adoptable dogs/puppies are fostered in private homes and shown by appointment only to applicants approved to adopt. Visiting and meeting a pet does NOT obligate you to adopt NOR does it guarantee that the adoption is final. All final decisions on adoptions are made by the foster parent responsible for the dog or pup of interest.
Our 2 foster homes are located in North Augusta, SC. A temporary foster home is also located in Augusta, GA.
Our Adoption Process:All adoptions are to approved homes only. Approval process begins with completing the online Adoption Application. Please click on the link below for access to our application :
We also ask that you read and agree to adoption guidelines.

We will begin processing the application as quickly as possible. However, we are only a few volunteers and this process often takes several days to a week. We appreciate your patience.
We adopt out of state when we feel this is the best home for the dog. Transportation arrangements and associated costs are the responsibility of the adopter as are adoption fees which are non-negotiable and non-refundable.
