About Our Rescue Group:

Cavy World was founded on the belief that all guinea pigs (cavies) deserve permanent and loving homes. Despite their small size, guinea pigs have huge personalities and make wonderful house pets. Cavy World's objective is to find a home for any guinea pig who needs one. No cavies are turned away regardless of age and medical disposition. Those who are healthy are placed in homes. Those with health issues
remain at Cavy World as treasured pets.

Come Meet our Pets:

We are more then happy to have adopters come visit our pigs on an appointment basis. All pigs are located in El Sobrante, Ca.

Our Adoption Process:

Our Adoption process includes an adoption interview, contract and minimum adoption fee of $25 per Guinea Pig

Why should you adopt?

small animals can make wonderful pets, and rather than buying a small animal for sale or finding a small animal breeder, adopting a small animal from an animal shelter or rescue organization is the perfect way to add a small animal to your family. Keep in mind, there is a lot you will need to know when you provide a home for a small animal. You will need to learn what to feed them, how much exercise or attention your small animal needs, and many other important things about how to house and care for a small animal. There are different types of small animals including Chinchilla, Degu, Ferret, Gerbil, Guinea Pig, Hamster, Hedgehog, Mouse, Prairie Dog, Rat, Skunk, and Sugar Glider.
