We Foster dogs for K9 Rescue of Virginia that they rescued from Tennessee. All these dogs are being fostered in Tennessee but will be available to be seen at monthly adoption events at the Richmond Petsmart

Our Adoption Process:
You must contact by phone our placement director there in Virginia and she will send you an application. you must be preapproved by the rescue to take the dog you are interested in adopting home with you during the time of the adoption event at petsmart. You do not have to know what dog you want right now and there is no commitment to adopt on just because you have filled out the application, but if you would like to adopt one of these babies on the second Saturday of the month you must first be preapproved. Should you decide that you want to adopt a dog and you have been preapproved, then at the adoption event you will pay the adoption fee of 200 dollars when you chose the dog you wish to adopt. So please if you are interested in adopting please get your application in so you can be preapproved our first time in Virginia will be March so hurry up. These babies are waiting and wanting to join your family.

When someone is breeding puppies or breeding kittens, they are creating new dogs
and cats who need homes. Some people are interested in a very specific breed of
dog, cat, puppy or kitten and they think the only way to find that specific breed
is to buy a dog for sale or buy a cat for sale from a puppy breeder or a kitten
breeder. Yet animal shelters are filled with dogs and cats who must find homes.
So rather than buying a dog or puppy for sale from a dog breeder or buying a cat
or kitten for sale from a cat breeder, we encourage people to adopt a dog, adopt
a cat, adopt a puppy or adopt a kitten at their local animal shelter, SPCA, humane
society or pet rescue group.
