Pets at Our Rescue Group:

Cities, Towns, and/or Counties We Serve:

We are a small rescue , taking in dogs from the surrounding communities, Animal Control facilities, and Kill Shelters. It is a must that all of our dogs are spayed and neutered.

About Our Rescue Group:

While volunteering at our local shelter, I found that the dogs were crowded 4-5 in a very small kennel.... most going kennel crazy. I also determined that they mostly concentrated on the small cute easy adopted dogs. I felt that , if the dogs could live in fenced yards and be treated as my own family, they would be better socialized and make great family members. So we started fencing our property. 13 dogs at a time live in our house, some sleep with us, other sleep in their crates, still others sleep on the couch. We teach our dogs to walk on a leash, sit , and get along with others.
We mostly take in large dogs, and black dogs. Black dogs are the number 1 dogs euthanized in shelters today. These dogs can sit , play, give kisses and love you the same as brown or white dogs. Please take a look at our dogs, if you have property for them to run and play, consider giving one a home.

Come Meet our Pets:

We have Adopt A Thons every Sat. in a nearby town, and at Petco's. We will be happy to take new pictures of any dog and send to you.

Our Adoption Process:

Once you find a buddy that melts your heart, call or e-mail us to received an application. Once you fill out the application you will receive a call from us to discuss it. Once approved, we will begin the process of finding the right transport option. If we can not find that option we will make arrangements to transport ourselves. The adoption donation is $75, this covers spay and neuter, shots and worming. The cost of transport /medical for transport and any other requests by the new family will be added to this and the new member sent of his/her way. We use Transports that have been in business a long time and have very good references. We are a " Not for Profit" and have no paid employees or Board Members, we only ask for costs.

Our Adopted Pets:

We have helped lots of pets connect with loving and caring owners. Check out our adopted pets list!

Why should you adopt?

Dog adoption and cat adoption saves lives. Adopt a dog or adopt a cat and you'll have a friend for life! What is the difference between adopting a dog or puppy versus getting dogs for sale or puppies for sale from a dog breeder? When someone is breeding puppies, they are creating new dogs who need homes. Some people are interested in a very specific breed of dog or puppy and they think the only way to find that specific breed is to buy a dog for sale from a puppy breeder. Yet animal shelters are filled with dogs who must find homes. So rather than buying a dog or puppy for sale from a dog breeder, we encourage people to adopt a dog or adopt a puppy at their local animal shelter, SPCA, humane society or pet rescue group.
